Welcome to Mom-Goals.com - Using Goals to Create a Better Life for Your Family
You have achieved your goal of becoming a mom and have been busy raising your family. Maybe you have even put your career on hold and became a stay at home mom. Your first and foremost goal is to provide a loving, safe and nurturing environment for your children and give as much of your life to them as possible.
But what about you??
Somewhere along the way what happened to your hopes and dreams? With a new baby or young children in the house it is very easy to get caught up in the day to day routine and the demands of parenting.
I will let you in on a little secret, having some time to yourself, something you can achieve, other than picking up that same toy again or changing another diaper will make you a better mom and wife. As much as you want to spend time with your children it is important to take time out for stress relief for yourself. You will come back recharged and refreshed.
If you are a stay at home mom it is very important to not become socially isolated. It is important to connect with other adults other than just your husband. You need to continue to develop yourself and channel your creativity.
You can achieve your goals!
But what?? It does not matter what your dream is, as long as you do it. Maybe you want to further your education, get out of debt, lose weight, volunteer for a worthy cause, travel with your family so they can see the world, start a home business to quit your job or run a marathon, the possibilities are endless. It will take time and dedication to accomplish, but you can do it.
Whatever the mind can conceive, you can achieve!!
Where do I start?? We are here to help you along the way. We will help you define your dreams and write out your goals. Written goals are easier to focus on. After writing them, you need to take action and develop an action plan. We can help point you in the right direction.
We also have helpful advice on time management and balancing your role as a full time mom. We just want you to know that you can do it, you may need to get creative with time management, but it is possible to carve out a little time for yourself everyday. It is amazing what one can accomplish working at something a little bit each day - the key is to stay focused and keep at it.
"In the absence of clearly defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia until ultimately we become enslaved by it."
Robert Heinlein
Novelist
The above quote I have found to be amazingly true. As moms we often get caught up in cleaning, cooking and driving the kids around - not that these things are not important - nuturing your family is a priority; it's just we often forget about ourselves in the process. We can help you with home management to help you get daily tasks under control.
"If we fix a goal and work towards it, then we are never just passing time."
